Email Etiquette

So for the past two weeks we have been learning about email etiquette. If you don't know what email etiquette is it it learning how to send a proper and formal email. I liked this task because you can learn how to have respect for people in a way of sending emails and it was fun using a hyper doc.

Donalitious the Donut

The stop motion is  project is about making a Plasticine character. Our character is Donalitious  she is a donut. You will make your characters and all the props. Then you will make a video on I can animate. That's the app we used . we created our character a donut cause i think my partner and i love food and our other character is a hot dog and he is the bad guy. I think I will mix the up the story line and more  power to the story if we had a little bit more time. I really liked making the characters and all the props, painting our background, and dressing up. The frustrations were filming and doing the voiceovers.

Talanas Dreams and Hopes 2017

My dream is to hike along the Kromriver.
I hope to be able to fly in a plane even just to Durban or Johannesburg.
I dream to be at The Tropic of Capricorn in Namibia.
I hope to enter a modelling show.
I dream to go on more camping trips.
I hope to be able to sing in front of the whole assembly.
I dream to go to Plett or to Knysna for three whole weeks.
I dream to be able to go to Thailand Or Mauritius.
I hope to be able to learn how to surf
I dream to get academic award and to get the Carpe Diem award.
I dream to get a pet goldfish.

Egypt Day

Today was a lovely day. I woke up early which was a suprise for my mom, and I normally dont do that.My friends and I werw taking selfies,It was lovely I personally enjoyed the clay sculptering it was so great.We all looked so great we didn't do Maths which was great ! Well done to the teachers for also dressing up so great, and planning all this awesome work for us. I hope the Grade 5 group next year  enjoy's this great time . What a lovely time  I love the group I'm in . Everything we do is for a reason like this is. I love learinng about the Canopic Jars it is great and I love learing about the tombs and sculptering it was amazing . We made mummies, a sacophagus and decorations for the tombs.

It was great I was making a lid for the sarcophagus it was cool .

Day of a life and a child in a informal settlement

 I am 12 years old my name is Qubeile. My  mother is 40 years old and a very hard worker .We live in Khayalitsha . I need to walk to school in the morning . In the winter it gets really cold i have to walk to school and the toilets I have to go community toilets. The other day I went to school and a dog bit my friends ankle.
In this township we had a lot of fires .

I was waiting for my mom to come home when a fire spread . Their was a lady that helped me through this tough time . It is hard for me to study I have use to sit under the lamp post and study , now that they have made powerbottles it is easier to study .

Now that the power bottle was made it is very nice to study . My mother works in a 4 story house in town she cleans it . We have to wash in the river it has so much bacteria in it . My friends and I have a dancing club called tri bongi.

🎵THE SINGING INSPECTER🎵


Today was the worst day of my life. MR RAYMOND had called me to sing and I cannot sing . He has a huge mustache and wears tight knicklebockers . I do not want to be in higher grades otherwise I have to do writing exam .


 I hate when i dream about Mr Raymond  biting there heads of I wake up in the middle of the night. I was speechless when i was called in .
It was horrible.
